Why can’t I remove myself as a User when I’m a Cloud Admin?
As the Cloud Admin for your company’s Match My Email (MME) account, you can’t be deleted. However, you do not have to import and match your own emails. You can be simply the manager of Users and our point of contact.
If you want to continue as the Cloud Admin but no longer want to import and match email, you can remove your credentials for importing and Salesforce integration.
- In the MME menu click on Import. Check the box next to the import(s) listed. Click the Delete button. This will remove your import settings.
- In the MME menu go to Settings -> Salesforce Integration. Find your personal email address in the Applies To column. Check the box next to the listing for you personally and click Delete button.
- Inform us of this if we need to reflect fewer seats in billing.
If you no longer want to be the Cloud Admin, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating which User listed for your account will be the new Cloud Admin. We must make this switch in the back end of the system, after which time the new Cloud Admin can remove your name if you will no longer be a MME User.If you would prefer to have assistance with these steps, contact support.
