4.22. Installation > Email Cloud Properties

The Base URL field is very important for confirming the location of a customer’s Match My Email account.  MME operates a server based in the United States and a server based in the EU to comply with GDPR for EU customers.  When Admins are setting up Match My Email, their choice of location should automatically set the correct value for the Base URL.

If customers use the web tab in Salesforce or take an action in the MME user interface and see an error message of e_auth_key_not_found, in most cases it means the Base URL is off.  The action being taken is attempting to call information from the company’s MME account.  However, the Base URL directs the package to a specific server and if will result in error if the MME account for this organization cannot be found.  Admins should contact MME support staff for assistance with the reason for the error and the correct Base URL they need to use.
