4.1 Control Panel > Dashboard
The Control Panel will look similar to the following screenshot. The Control Panel menu presented is what an Admin User will see. (End Users have a limited menu allowing them only to create individual Ignore rules and, if needed, to create individually-authenticated imports.)
The graphics are simply to give a general overview of what the app is doing in the back end to process email messages. Note the date ranges are for the Last 30 days, meaning it does not involve emails sent today, only yesterday and looking back 30 days.
While some customers are sometimes uncomfortable to see a large percentage of No Match emails, consider that this means MME is only syncing and placing in Salesforce the messages that matter. It can also be a normal use case in that Users are consistently receiving emails that are not communication for company Contacts. Ultimately, it can also help with Salesforce adoption in that by having Users maintain correct Lead and Contact information in Salesforce, the app will be able to do the work of matching emails for Users.
Large percentages of Ignored email may indicate there is a lot of internal email happening and again, confirms that MME is not taking up valuable Salesforce storage with internal email that doesn’t need to be in Salesforce. If you have chose to create a lot of Ignore rules, then this would naturally increase the number of messages with this status.
The Alerts box to the right will show when there are issues with the account as a whole or with individual imports. These alert messages are also sent via email to Administrative Users and/or End Users depending on Permission settings for Users. Alerts are discussed further in 4.8.
