Present email data in Salesforce

  • Clearly
  • Consistently
  • Conveniently

Create a user interface that is intuitive, user friendly and easy to learn.

Wrap email data in the Salesforce ‘look and feel’ so that email capture and management look like an integral part of the CRM.

User interface design is a core competence at Match My Email. Our app designers have invested years of effort perfecting the appearance of the app so that it fits seamlessly into Salesforce.

With ClearView, emails are showed in chronological order in a special section of any standard or custom page layout, generally in an Activity tab.

The sender of each email is shown at the upper left followed by the Subject Line. Hover over the Subject Line and read the underlying email.  The records where the email has been uploaded are shown as links below the Subject Line. Clicking on a link enables the user to navigate or jump to that record.

The record links can be hidden to present more compressed email data.

If the email has an attachment(s), it will be shown as a paperclip. Match My Email filters out junk attachments like signature logos and social media icons, so that only important attachments are uploaded to Salesforce.

Hovering over the paperclip reveals the attachment’s file name. Attachments can be opened with a single click.

Clicking in the box next to the Sender’s name will open up a black floating ribbon at the bottom of the page.

The floating ribbon has five buttons

  • Reply
  • Reply All
  • Forward
  • +/- Match
  • Delete

Reply, Reply All and Forward enable a user to answer than email from inside Salesforce using an extension of the Salesforce email composer. Match My Email will auto populate To:, From:, RE: Subject Line and add the Thread to the end of the outbound email. More information about the MME email composer is included on the QuickReply feature web page.

The +/- Match button is used to either disassociate an email from a record (by clicking on the X) or manually match or add it to an unrelated record by filling a few letters of the record name to the ‘add match’ dialogue box.

The Delete button will remove the email from Salesforce entirely. The Delete button can be disable by a Salesforce Admin.

The Match My Email user interface is highly rated for its crisp and modern design. Users like working with Match My Email because it presents email data clearly in Salesforce.
