Match My Email Users for accounts created prior to June 2019, have multiple ways to sign in to Match My Email. Cloud Admins, or overall managers of the account, can use email credentials, Salesforce credentials, or a unique complex password. All other Users (Domain Admins and End Users) can use email or Salesforce credentials. (Accounts after June 2019 allow active Users to sign in via their Salesforce credential only.)
If a Cloud Admin needs to create this complex password, or has forgotten it, they can click the ‘Can’t access your account?’ link on Match My Email login page, choose the option referencing trouble with a password, and proceed through the screens. They will be emailed a temporary password to use for sign in. Upon signing in with the temporary password, they will immediately be asked to create a new and strong complex password.
The ‘Can’t access your account?” link is only for Cloud Admins and is not an option for another type of User to update their email password. Upon signing in to Match My Email, an Update Wizard should detect you need to update a password and will guide you accordingly. If not, you can go to Import in top menu, click on the line of the import to be updated, and in Import Details enter and SAVE the updated password.
- Visit Chrome Settings > Show Advanced Settings (link at bottom)> Privacy > Content Settings > uncheck box for blocking cookies
- Visit Internet Options > Security tab > Trusted sites > Sites > add “https://*.matchmyemail.com” to list > Close
- Visit Internet Options > Privacy tab > Sites > add “matchmyemail.com” to list > Allow > OK
- Visit Internet Options > Privacy tab > Advanced > check ‘override cookie handling’ > Select Always > Accept
