The default view of the Match My Email cloud is for “All” period – which is the past 45 days. Forty-five days after arriving in the cloud an email is purged. Those emails that have been matched into Salesforce.com will remain in Salesforce.
It is possible to change the time period by which the cloud is filtered.
- Login to Match My Email cloud.
- Below the blue menu ribbon in center of the screen, for Group by click on the drop down menu to see options.
Aside from the pre-set options available, you can also choose a custom period.
- Choose custom, and fields appear for inputting the start and stop date desired. Click on the calendar icon and select a start date, then for end date.
- Click Browse to apply the filter.
To reset the date range and if you are apply other filters for match status or User, you can go back to Group By and select All. If you do not need to preserve any filtering you can click Email Cloud in blue menu ribbon to reset to default.
